Pirates outmatch Kubs in clash of aces
The Kamiah baseball boys started their second game of the spring flatfooted and Prairie took advantage, beating KHS 8-2 in the first meeting of these Whitepine League teams.

Prairie's Reece Shears reached on an error leading off the top of the first inning Friday afternoon at Kamiah, and the Pirates converted the free runner into a run. Pictured is Shears sliding in at home as Kubs ace pitcher Bodie Norman races to cover on a passed ball even as the throw arrives. Shears was called safe on the play and Prairie went on to win 8-2.
