     Kamiah Nimiipuu Health Clinic will celebrate their 14th anniversary on Wednesday, April 22, from 3–4:30 p.m.  It has been 14 years that Kamiah NMPH has been in their current location.  Kamiah NMPH once upon a time was housed in three small rooms in the Wa-a’yas building, now we are blessed to be in our current location! Cake and punch will be served. Dr. Rev. Mary Jane Miles will bless the clinic and celebration.   Current Nimiipuu Health Board members are Jim Spencer, Julia Davis Wheeler, Jackie Taylor, Connie Watters, Roberta Bisbee, NPTEC Liaisons Sam Penney and Bill Picard, and Interim Executive Director Tina Bullock.  Nimiipuu Health Staff welcomes everyone to come celebrate their 14th anniversary April 22.

     2015 NPTEC (Nez Perce Tribe Executive Committee) Candidate Forums will be Thursday, April 16, at the Pi-nee-waus in Lapwai; April 23 at the Teweepu Center in Orofino; and April 30 at the Wa-a’yas building in Kamiah.  All forums will begin with potluck dinner at 5:30 p.m. Donations of food, desserts, beverages, and table service will be appreciated.  For more information contact Forum Moderator Dallon Wheeler at 935-5788.  The NPTEC Candidate Forums are hosted by Delores Lookingglass Wheeler family.

     The Women’s Wellness Conference will be Thursday, April 16, at the Clearwater River Casino Event Center from 8 a.m.–3 p.m.  Breakfast and lunch will be provided.  Door prizes will be given out throughout the day. Merrell (Beck) Simpson will be the M.C. Tina Bullock, interim executive director, will give the Welcome address and Dr. Rev. Mary Jane Miles will give the opening prayer.
