Alan J. Searle

Alan J. Searle.

Alan J. Searle, 47, passed into his Heavenly Father’s arms, surrounded by his family at St. Joseph’s hospital in Lewiston, Idaho.

Alan grew up in Kamiah, Idaho, and had many good friends here. He played football on the high school team, and graduated in 1993.

He moved to Louisiana with a friend after graduation and worked on a gulf oil boat. He married Heather McDonald and became a father to her daughter, Morgan McDonald. He started a new job at Don Jon Marine working on the “Atlantic Salvor” tug boat. He worked many jobs along the east coast and in several foreign countries. Later, after a divorce, he moved back home, but kept in touch with Morgan.

While in Lewiston, he became reacquainted with Renee Jackson Wright, from high school, and married her in 2010, and acquired another daughter, Stephanie Wright. He loved riding motorcycles, hunting, fishing and being in the outdoors. He helped his wife keep their yard a spectacular show place and a comfortable place to sit. He enjoyed being a wonderful uncle to all his nephews and nieces and was a great help any time family needed him.

Alan is survived by his daughters, Stephanie Wright of Portland, Ore. and Morgan McDonald of Arkansas; his mother, Carol Jeppesen of Lewiston; his father, Kevin (Cathy) Searle of Kamiah; his brother, Forrest (Holly) Searle of Bountiful, Utah; his sisters, Heather Gomez of Post Falls, Idaho and Jennifer (David) Hubbel of Stevensville, Mont; five nieces and five nephews.

Preceding him in death is his wife, Renee Jackson-Searle by one week; his grandparents, Orin (Lucille) Searle and Jack (Elva) Jeppesen, his aunt, Kathy Pugh.
