KAMIAH — Kamiah Fire-Rescue invites the public to help clean up Kamiah. KFR staff and volunteers, several high school students and youth advisory board (YAB) members will participate on Saturday, June 12, from 8:30-10:30 a.m. The group plans to walk the roadside on Highway 162 from the Kamiah Middle School to Simmons Sanitation and a few miles south on Highway 12 from Kamiah.

People who want to join in should meet at the fire station at 8:30 a.m. for a safety briefing. The Idaho Dept. of Transportation will provide brightly colored vests and garbage bags. KFR will provide traffic control, water bottles and gloves. Children are welcome to participate with their parent or legal guardian with them and a signed waiver.
