Eagle Scout project benefits community veterans

Fin5-1-14--eagle-scout-project---veteransding the graves of veterans at a local cemetery is now a lot easier thanks to the efforts of Eagle Scout Ben Proskine.

Proskine developed a map system showing the location of deceased veterans in the Pine Grove Cemetery in Kooskia for which earned him the praise of Commander Pat Long of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 5407 of Kamiah.

Members of the VFW Post at Kamiah pose with Scouts involved in a community project. (L-R) Wade Petersen, Bill Gapsky, Ben Proskine, Gary Orr, Riley Williams, Jaxon Caren, Patrick Long, Doug Dompier, and Mac McKinney. Contributed photo
